Getting Started
Download FlowCursor, grant permissions, and start explaining text instantly.
1. Download and install
- Download the latest DMG from the download page.
- Open the DMG and drag FlowCursor to Applications.
- Launch FlowCursor from Applications.
2. Grant permissions
FlowCursor needs Accessibility and Microphone permissions to read selected text and capture voice transcription.
- Accessibility: System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Microphone: System Settings → Privacy & Security.
3. Sign in with Apple
Sign in once to unlock AI explanations. FlowCursor never stores your text or audio.
4. Try your first explanation
Highlight any sentence, press ⌘1, and FlowCursor will overlay the answer instantly.
System requirements: macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later · Apple Silicon or Intel Mac · Internet connection required.
